How do I book a session?

You can complete the CONTACT FORM. I will respond within 24 hrs. (almost always within a few hours)


What else is Included with my fee?

  • A pre-session consultation via phone or in-person to review the session details, expectations, location choices, session attire suggestions, and helpful recommendations to assist us in getting the best images possible.

  • 30-60 minute shooting time at a pre-determined location. (A small travel fee may be required for locations further than 25 miles from the 77459 zipcode)

  • within 2-3 weeks of the session, we will meet up again for your in-person ordering session where your images will be presented for your ordering convenience. We can schedule an online meeting/Skype Call to go over options if you are no longer in town.


Do you sell Digital files?

I sell digital files separately and in my collections. You will also receive the digital file of any print ordered over 11x14. Please inquire for more information & detailed pricing.


How many people can be included?

That is totally up to you.


When should I book my session?

I am available any day of the week either in the early morning or evening, but weekends fill up quickly so the sooner you reserve your spot the better. If you are interested in holiday cards, announcements, invitations, albums, etc, please let me know & allow for four weeks between the session date and delivery.


When is my payment due?

The session fee is NON-REFUNDABLE & due to book any session. All session fees are paid via an online invoice with a Credit Card at time of booking. Session Fee is transferable to another date within a year of the originally booked date. I try my hardest to get sessions re-booked within the time you are in town. This is why I need a good cell number to call you at while you are in town, just in case we need to rearrange our session.

Payment plans are available for print orders.


Where will my session take place?

I travel all over the Houston area, it all depends on the theme or style you are looking for in your session.

A small travel fee may be required for locations further than 25 miles from the 77459 zipcode


What time of the day do you shoot?

I only shoot just after Sunrise or just before Sunset. The actual time of the session will depend on the time of the year you will be here. Please email for exact times.

These times are to maximize the use of natural light and are the best times of the day to take photos for that nice natural golden light. We are limited due to the very BRIGHT and HOT sun that occurs during the midday usually depending on the time of year around 10am till around 3pm. Doing sessions either outside or on the beach at any other times during the day would cause very bright photos and A LOT of squinting.


What to Wear?

Your session time can allow for a few “Wardrobe changes” so feel free to try out a few looks! This depends on the number of people included in the session. This is something we will address during the pre-consultation. Please feel free to call to discuss options.

For newborns, “birthday suits” are best. Favorite blankets, diaper covers, and hats are adorable.

For toddlers and older children, solid colors and simple patterns are usually best but coll and trendy is fun too. Tutu’s and capes are also always welcome.

For family shots, I would recommend a simple & similar overall tone. I normally prefer solid colors to stripes & plaids, this is for your family, do what fits your families personality. I also recommend starting with mom first. Then have outfits similar to moms outfit by color or style.

The most important tip: Be YOU and have FUN! This is your chance to bring out your inner fashionista or show your casual side. Simple and clean is splendid, fun and funky is fantastic. And of course, shoes are completely optional.

Note: I know clothing is a very important factor in determining the overall look of your portrait session. If you have any questions at ALL regarding clothing, I would be more than happy to discuss your different options and my preferences with you.


What about Hair & Make-up?

I STRONGLY suggest leaving hair & make-up to the pros. They are used to Houston’s Erratic weather, wind & humidity and not to mention its a great excuse to get a little bit of pampering before the session.

I STRONGLY suggest making the time to get hair & make-up done for any photo shoot.

  • For those in the South Houston around Pearland, I absolutely recommend Heather Cruce of Belle Peau Artistry, she also does wonderful work with makeup. Her contact info is 281-841-4284.

If we are shooting on the beach PLEASE remember that it’s ALWAYS windy on the beach.


What should I bring?

Ideally, a well rested, well fed, happy child. Since we know that doesn’t always happen as planned, feel free to bring some snacks and a few of your child’s favorite things to help them feel comfortable. Pets, lollies, loveys, tutus, capes, umbrellas, instruments - whatever makes you and them happy. Same goes for seniors and adults! #briberydoeswork

Depending on the session and you have decided to bring your dog. I recommend having someone who can hold the dog/s since there will be times we will do shots that do not include them. Usually having a family friend there usually works best, especially when the dog/s feel comfortable with them.


Do you have any props?

Yes, have a TON of props. After you book we will go over this during the pre-consultation.

Including the types of furniture that you would like in the session.

Please make sure to requests these things as I don’t bring them with me to every session.

A small fee may be Required for large props and certain furniture pieces.


What if I need to reschedule my session?

We understand that unexpected things come up especially when you have children. If you need to reschedule, please call us as soon as possible. If your child is unusually cranky or sick, it is better to go ahead and reschedule your session. The session fee can be transferred towards another session on another date as long as you re-book within 12 months from your original appointment time as schedule allows.


What if it looks like rain?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Shhhhh we don’t say that word around here it’s always sunny in Texas!

It’s a less than 90% chance of rain at the location we will wait till just before the session to see if it’s actually raining. If it’s a 100% chance of rain I still wait till 2-3 hours before the session before calling it off. I have had MANY MANY times that we have called off the session at Noon and then at 5-6pm it was gorgeous at our location but raining everywhere else.

If it does happen to be raining during your session we will figure out the next best time for both of our schedules before you leave to go home. That may mean getting up at sunrise (I know that is usually VERY early but it’s gorgeous & cooler than sunset).

If for some reason we can not reschedule during this visit your session fee is transferable to another date within a year of our original date scheduled.


What happens after the session? Will you “Photoshop” me?

After your session the images will be color corrected, brightness adjusted & have edited. If you have a scratch or '“boo boo” on your face I will try to edit that on the close-ups.

I will NOT photoshop your hair in every photo to make it look you are in a shampoo commercial….There is wind and I’ll try to position you in the best possible way to avoid crazy hair. I will not make your tan lines disappear, if you know you are having photos made picking out a shirt that doesn’t show them OR wear a different bathing suit.

BUT if you order a photo from me to be printed I WILL tweak it for you. If you want smoother skin, to save off a FEW inches, erase a few fly-aways I CAN AND WILL DO THAT but there is an additional charge PER photo to do additional editing. The cost will all depend on what you would like done & to how many images. If you are interested in additional editing, please send me an email with lots of details to avoid confusion & I will let you know the cost of editing before the work is done.

When & what can I expect to see at my reveal?

In 2-3 weeks, your images will be presented & we will go through them to pick out the best wall art & albums for your family. There will be mixture of color & black/white photos within the online gallery. I can meet you are your house or we can meet at a local coffee shop.
